Home/Texas/Dallas/PE Stamping

Do Dallas, TX MEP drawings need a PE stamp?

It depends on your project and your AHJ — we check before you pay.

Commercial MEP drawings in Dallas generally need a Texas-licensed PE seal. Many single-family projects can be permitted without one.

Engineers who seal drawings in Texas are licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS). If your project needs sealed MEP drawings, we confirm during scoping whether a Texas-licensed engineer can seal your discipline and scope, and we put that in writing in your quote. If we can't arrange the seal for your project, we tell you up front, so you can have your own engineer of record review and seal the set. You never pay for drawings you can't submit.
